Dynamic Dog Practitioner Refresher Course
Course Summary
Refresh your Dynamic Dog skills and supercharge your practice!
This is a 2 month self study refresher, meaning no live zooms to attend and you must complete within 2 months so plan your time wisely.
Inside this course you will find updated zoom lectures, quiz's, skill boosters, and of course some assignments and the all important case study assessment at the end where WE give you the cases that you compile the report and pick the evidence for ... so no need to find your own dogs!
Once completed and passed this course will renew your certification for 3 more years with UK Rural Skills and earn you a further 20 CPD points. Because of this, if it is your year to renew your Association membership you will not be asked to submit case studies or proof of CPD points (the £100 yearly fee does still apply though).
Assignments are uploaded directly to Zenler so no more emailing, there is a guide on how to do this within the Course Outline section.
You have a month either side of your renewal date to start the course.
The refresher course cost is £250, with payment plans available.,
Course Curriculum
Gemma Hodson
Gemma Hodson is a Dynamic Dog Instructor, Canine Myofunction & Rehabilitation Therapist, Canine Behaviour Practitioner & holds qualifications in other hands on complimentary therapies & is currently a student of Veterinary Physiotherapy.
She also has extensive knowledge of the the showing world having grown up in a house full of show Welsh Springers and Italian Spinone - where good movement & conformation were paramount to success.
Combining her passion for biomechanics and behaviour, Gemma now spends her time collaborating with other trainers & behaviourist that have called on her expertise to assess their clients dogs for pain & discomfort related behaviours and liaising with vets on ongoing support for the animal & the guardian.
More recently Gemma was asked to work with Chirag Patel on his courses at The Dog Training Barn in Oxford, Speak for the APBC, the IBH in Germany, Behaviour Vets & travels internationally giving 2 days seminars on spotting discomfort in dogs.
The Dynamic Dog Practitioners Course teaches you her tried and tested professional methods of gathering the right information AND the consultation process so you get the best possible outcome for your client.
Ceri Foscoe
With over 15 years of experience in training staff across diverse settings, I have developed a robust skill set in behaviour management and training methodologies. In 2018, I became a Certified Behaviour Practitioner and further expanded my ability by qualifying as a Dynamic Dog Practitioner in 2021. Currently, I am deeply engaged in self-studying veterinary-level canine musculoskeletal systems and diseases, with plans to formalise this knowledge through an accredited course in the future.
I am a Student Coordinator and mentor on the Dynamic Dog team.
